Dra Catarina Barbosa

A nutritionist graduated from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Porto (FCNAUP) since 2017, she has mainly worked in the field of Clinical Nutrition.

She currently works at ULS Santo António, in different areas such as Nephrology (monitoring kidney patients at various stages, including those on hemodialysis), Hereditary Metabolic Diseases, and Familial Amyloidosis.

Alongside her clinical work, she also participates in some research projects, publishes papers, and attends national and international training events.

Her clinical practice is guided by a passion for sharing knowledge and strategies that can be useful in her patients’ daily lives, helping to improve their health and quality of life.
