Doctor, specialized in Nephrology, with a degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and specialist training in Nephrology at the Unidade Local de Saúde Gaia/Espinho.
Experienced in the prevention, diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease at all its stages, including advanced kidney disease and the various forms of renal replacement therapy.
She completed periods of specialist training in Glomerular Diseases and Hereditary Nephropathies at the Fundació Puigvert in Barcelona, and in Nephropathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She maintains an active involvement in clinical research, seeking to integrate the most up-to-date scientific evidence into clinical practice.
