Immunoallergology Consultation

Allergic diseases affect a significant part of the population and can have an impact on sleep, work, school and overall quality of life. The Immunoallergology consultation at Clínica TRUST Fluvial is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of allergic and immune system disorders in both adults and children.

We recommend an assessment in cases of allergic rhinitis or conjunctivitis (sneezing, blocked nose, itchy eyes); asthma, persistent cough, wheezing or shortness of breath; eczema, hives or episodes of swelling (angioedema); reactions to food, medication or insect stings; contact or occupational allergies; and very frequent infections that may suggest changes in the immune system.

The consultation begins with a detailed clinical assessment, in which we seek to understand your symptoms, their triggers and their impact on your daily life. Depending on each case, skin allergy tests, blood tests or lung function tests may be carried out. Based on the results, we define a personalised plan, which may include preventive measures, medication and, when indicated, allergen immunotherapy (allergy vaccines), the only treatment capable of changing the natural course of some allergies.
